Liquidity Sweep Reversal
Smart Money / ICTThe stop-hunt is the signal, when it's rejected, not just poked.
how liquidity sweep reversal works
What it does
Stop-losses cluster just beyond every obvious swing high and low. Large players push price through those levels to fill orders against the triggered stops, then price snaps back. This version confirms the sweep: a wick pierces the level, the candle closes back inside, the close sits in the far half of the candle, and the rejection wick is long.
How it works
- 1Mark recent swing highs and lows (the liquidity pools, drawn on the chart).
- 2Confirm 1: a wick pierces the level. Confirm 2: the candle closes back inside.
- 3Confirm 3: the close sits in the rejection half of the candle. Confirm 4: a long rejection wick.
- 4Three-plus checks confirm a genuine sweep, not a clean break.
