What it does

ADX answers the meta-question most systems skip: is there a trend at all? This version only trades when ADX is above 25, actually rising, the correct DI line leads after a fresh cross, and price agrees with its own 20-EMA. All the directional pieces have to point the same way before it acts.

How it works

  1. 1Plot ADX with the +DI and −DI lines in the sub-pane (25 threshold marked).
  2. 2Confirm 1: ADX ≥ 25. Confirm 2: the correct DI line leads. Confirm 3: a fresh DI cross.
  3. 3Confirm 4: ADX rising (trend strengthening). Confirm 5: price on the right side of the 20-EMA.
  4. 4Four-plus checks must align, chop is filtered out by design.
